The views expressed on this site are the authors’ own and are for informational purposes only. We are always happy to recommend products as this is obviously a key part of the blog. The basis for all of our recommendations is on our own experience, but everyone’s skin and/or bodies are different. Something that works for one of us may not work in the same way for another.
The same with allergic reactions – it is impossible to anticipate allergies – it is pretty much possible for anyone to be allergic to anything.
Please take these factors into consideration when buying or using products mentioned on this blog.

This blog is a collaborative blog written by two sisters. We use affiliate links, affiliate codes, and advertising on the site.
The blog contains some affiliate marketing links, which means we may get paid commission on sales of those products should you purchase through a link. We also offer affiliate codes for use to buy from specific retailers. It is up to you whether you choose to use them or not. All posts that contain affiliate links or codes will state that they are contained in that specific post.
What is an affiliate link?
It is a link to a website that is encoded with a tracking cookie. What that cookie does is note if you make a purchase after you clicked on the link. The website you bought from keeps track of the amounts purchased, organized by the unique codes. The “owner” (us) of those codes will then receive a commission for referring the sale. It does not cost you anything extra to use the affiliate link.
What is an affiliate code?
It is a code given to us by a specific retailer. The retailer gives us the code to pass on to our subscribers and readers so that they may receive a discount on products from that retailer. When an affiliate code is used, we do receive a commission. In no way does that affect you, the buyer. It is essentially a win-win situation. You, the buyer, receive a discount and we receive a small commission. However, we do understand that not everyone is comfortable using affiliate codes. That is why we are taking the time to explain how it works and it is left up to you on whether to use the code or not.
The use of affiliate links or codes will never affect what we write about. Although, we would sincerely appreciate their use as it helps us to support this blog in the fairest way we believe possible.
Our content is not influenced by advertisers, affiliate partnerships or brands. The compensation we receive will never influence the content, topics or posts made in this blog.
